S3 E5 "Recording a Podcast when you have nothing to say"

Some days you have something to talk about, some days you don't. Today seemed like one of those days. But (in our opinion) it went better than expected and a lot easier than expected.
What are your thoughts? Did we do ok? This podcast is still kind of searching for it's identity and direction. More than just the father/son aspect of it. Maybe we need to go deeper into the relationship. What do you think?

It IS Super Bowl 58 Sunday. Need I say more? It's a cornucopia, a buffet if you will, of Super Bowl facts and figures as ONLY my dad can deliver!

S3 E3 "When Parents Say 'We'll See' - We know what that really means"

Growing up - do you ever remember you're parent's telling you "we'll see" after you asked them for something or to do something"  I bet you that when they said it - it meant - NO.  Am I wrong?
Good day to everyone. Happy Week Before Superbowl Week! We also have some great news: We are now live-streaming our episodes, as we record them, on Twitch.tv. That's an awesome opportunity to grow our audience and reach a different set of listeners.
Not much to discuss this week other than it's Super Bowl Week. My beloved 49ers against the KC Chiefs! Stay tuned and listen in as my dad and I talk, just a little bit, about my 2 pee-wee football teams that I played for.

S3 E2 "Cutting the line, cold butts and bourbon"

Well, the weather outside was more than frightful - it was downright cold the week before last. So listen up 2 Old Farts fans - because you will hear all about the shenanigans that happened last weekend at the Country and Western show!
We met a lot of great people on the porch at Floores Country Store. It was cold but we had heaters and bourbon to keep us warm. All except for my mom's butt. But - get it - you will have to listen to it all to hear all about it.
Again, we apologize for not being consistent with our podcast and we will endeavor to get better.  Please be patient and please stick with us.

Happy New Year to everyone. Thank you for listening to The 2 Old Farts and thank you for listening to us in the New Year. It's been a wild new year for sure.
And in the realm of college football, we have a NEW Champion - the Michigan Wolverines! Congratulations. Well deserved. You put on an exhibition in defense against Alabama in the CFP playoffs!
And in the realm of Alabama - we lost "The GOAT!" Nick Saban has officially retired after 17 seasons. And in his stead is Kalen DeBoer from the University of Washington Huskies! Welcome aboard. So sit back and enjoy.

S2 E28 ”Happy New Year and College Football Playoffs”

We ring in the New Year with our last episode of 2023. We are also on the eve of the College Football Playoffs.
 
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas or Hanukkah this year.  We hope you have a happy and safe New Year's Eve tonight.  We want to see you again in 2024.

We are back. We apologize for being gone for the last couple of weeks. Work just gets to be an all consuming thing sometimes - and for that, I apologize.
We didn't really have a topic either. So, with no topic, that leads to a crappy title of a podcast. The only thing or word that came to mind was "musings" - which is a period of reflection or thought. And that is exactly what this episode is. Thank you for listening and downloading.
